when he was in 7th class,he
underwent a very tough penance for
40 days.Most of the time , he was
busy in meditation of God.In 1916,
he attained self realization at the age
of 13 and became aware of all the
secrets of spiritual union.
Mahamantra was also revealed to
him in three days time during this
period only.

Once a premi asked maharaj-ji :- How do we search for a true guru ?
Maharaj-ji:- Who kathni and karni is same is a true guru.
Premi :- Maharaj-ji, but now a days there is so much showoff, that people pretend to be spritual and appears great gurus. How do we know that this guru is true guru.
Maharaj-ji;- Watch the so sai guru in night. If he sleeps like others then you will know that its not true guru. Sacche guru ko neend, bhookh, pyaas nahi satati......
